Which litter should I choose: Regular Tofu, Tofu + Carbon, or Millet?

Choosing a litter ultimately depends on your needs and your cat’s preferences. All our litters share core qualities like natural ingredients and flushability, but each offers something unique. Regular Tofu is our best seller and an affordable option with good clumping and low tracking thanks to larger pellets—ideal for standard trays. Tofu + Carbon, and Millet are premium choices with optimal clumping, minimal dust, and superior odour control. Tofu + with Carbon minimises tracking, while Millet’s finer texture suits automatic trays. Pick what works best for you and your cat!

Why Kitty Klumpers?

Plant based cat litter, is a relatively new alternative to traditional cat litter varieties and it offers a number of benefits:

Biodegradable

Our cat litter is made from natural ingredients, including soybean fibre, pea fibre, cornstarch, and other plant-based materials. As a result, it is biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Once discarded, it can decompose naturally, reducing its impact.

Low Dust

Unlike other varieties of litter such as clay or silica crystals, which can generate a significant amount of dust when poured, scooped or disturbed by your cat, our premium litter produces practically no dust. This can be beneficial for both cats and owners, as it reduces respiratory irritation and keeps the surrounding area cleaner.

Tofu Cat Litter Varieties

Flushable

Our cat litter breaks down and dissolves in water. It is also biodegradable and made from natural ingredients.

Natural Ingredients

Our cat litter is made from human-grade plant-based ingredients, meaning your cat and home are not exposed to toxic chemicals.

Clumping Qualities

Clumping litter helps maintain cleanliness and odour control, as soiled litter can be easily removed without having to change the entire box.

Minimal Tracking

There's no need to worry about your cat causing a mess and tracking cat litter or footprints through your home. Unlike other varieties of clumping litters, our premium litter is very clean and won't cause a mess.

Gentle on Paws

Tofu cat litter is softer and gentler on cats' paws compared to traditional clay or crystal litter, which can be abrasive. This can be especially beneficial for cats with sensitive paws or those prone to developing litter box aversions.

Lightweight

Plant based cat litter is lightweight compared to most alternatives, which can make it easier to handle and pour. This can be particularly advantageous for cat owners with mobility issues.

Millet litter

Natural Odour Control

Our cat litter contains natural odour-absorbing ingredients, such as activated charcoal and baking soda, which help to neutralise unpleasant smells. This can create a more pleasant environment for both cats and humans, especially in smaller living spaces where litter box odours may be more noticeable.

Moisture Absorption

Our litter is highly absorbent which means you use less litter over time.

Sustainable Sourcing

The materials used to make plant based cat litter are sourced from renewable and sustainable sources. This makes plant based litter a more environmentally friendly choice compared to litters derived from non-renewable resources.

Overall, tofu cat litter offers a range of benefits including being low maintenance, biodegradability, low dust, cleanliness, clumping ability, natural odour control, flushability, paw-friendliness, sustainable resourcing, and lightweight composition, making it an attractive option for environmentally conscious cat owners seeking an alternative to traditional litter materials.

3 reviews for Millet Cat Litter (4.5kg)

    Donna –

I recently had the opportunity to try Kitty Klumpers cat litter after they kindly sent me a sample to review via my social media page. Having used several clumping litters in the past, I must say that this millet litter is amazing. I am genuinely impressed by how easy and clean it is to maintain and am eagerly anticipating the official launch of this product. I will certainly be purchasing it for our cats moving forward.

    Amanda Edwards –

This isn’t just kitty litter, it’s a lifestyle. Buy it now!

I bought a wheelie bin of Millet close to 9 months ago for two cats and am only running out now. This stuff is chefs kiss (I don’t recommend kissing it), the crème de la crème, or you could even say the Rolls Royce of litter. I’m never going elsewhere!

Kitty Klumpers, you have my money for life!!

    Michael –

I’ve been using your millet litter for almost a year and it’s been solid, but this new version is awesome! The scent’s way nicer and the odour control is top notch 👌
