I recently had the opportunity to try Kitty Klumpers cat litter after they kindly sent me a sample to review via my social media page. I have used many clumping litters in the past and their tofu litter is excellent. That being said, their millet litter is even better. I am eagerly anticipating the official launch of this product. I will certainly be purchasing it for our cats moving forward.

Great litter for a great price

I’ve been using this litter for almost a year. It’s well priced and works really well.

I highly rate Kitty Klumpers. I tried all their varieties and they all work really well. To be honest, I haven’t noticed any urine odour from the regular tofu litter despite it not having odour control like the more expensive tofu+ ones, even after many weeks of use. That being said, I scoop the clumps out a couple of times a day which probably helps. This litter works well for me, so I’ll continue using it as it’s cheaper than the tofu+

My end all, be all litter. The clumps are so easy to remove with the scoop that I’ll do it multiple times throughout the day. Way less tracking, if I find a few stragglers I just pick them up off the floor and throw them back in the litter box, it’s not much effort (just wash your hands after!).
We were using a mix of clay and crystals prior, and the odour was so strong by the end of the month that even with stainless steel trays we were gagging when we scooped things up! No such thing with the tofu litter. It stays pleasant until it’s time to replace the whole tray. I’ve heard that scented litter isn’t great for cats, but this has a mild, natural, milky scent that my cats have no adverse reaction to & I personally love.
Thank you Rob for the delightful customer service too! One of my cats needed a slower introduction to the pellets from clay and he suggested mixing tofu with millet. I was worried she’d never get used to the pellets, but after a month with the mixed litter, she’s now using a full tofu tray like a champ!
I’m sold, the cats are sold, and moving forward I’ll get it in a bin for sure. I love that it’s a local business and have started recommending Kitty Klumpers to all my friends.
